Jaws drop when people see and hear this rare 1930s Alcoa Aluminum bass. It has a painted wood finish, but the only thing wooden is the bridge. When the troops went over seas during WWII, this bass could stand rougher treatment than a wooden instrument. Today you coud strip it down - chrome it out or paint it white. You could stand on it, sit on it, or lay down on it! Maybe put blinking red lights in the f holes as turn signals. - It could be your Rockabilly Dream Machine ! !
